Skift IDEA Awards - GuideGeek Named "Best Use of AI"

Leading travel business publication Skift named GuideGeek "Best Use of AI" in its 2025 IDEA Awards.
GuideGeek was selected as a finalist in July, and named this year's winner in August. In September at the Skift Global Forum in New York, GuideGeek CEO received the physical award from Skift founder Rafat Ali (photo).
In their writeup announcing the award winners, Skift said:
After launching custom AI tools with more than 45 travel brands, GuideGeek has progressed beyond simply being a chatbot provider to enabling travel brands to harness the power of AI to supercharge top-priority campaigns and business objectives.
Every custom AI tool GuideGeek builds for its travel brand partners, draw on the destination’s wealth of data, as well as GuideGeek’s 1,000-plus sources of travel information. Users are instantly able to plan full custom itineraries, or get quick answers to any travel or tourism question.
Often integrated with the destination’s social media accounts, GuideGeek gives destinations a direct connection with visitors in real time 24/7 – including during their stay. In addition, GuideGeek provides valuable data insights for destinations and travel brands about key topics of interest, concerns and who is visiting their destination and why.
This year, GuideGeek has launched custom AI tools with DMOs representing major destinations such as NYC, New Zealand and Colorado.
Each is highly customized, both through prioritizing data from the DMO and by integrating with the DMO's key initiatives. For example, NYC Tourism + Conventions launched an AI with GuideGeek specifically for meetings and events planners. Tourism New Zealand placed GuideGeek at the center of a major campaign with A Minecraft Movie.
GuideGeek was previously a finalist in Skift's IDEA Awards in 2024, and was a named a 2024 Most Innovative Company by Fast Company.
